Please let this be the 1 review read by the design team. The child safety lock as it is now is the most useless feature. The lock only engages after the microwave has been started. Then you have to go through the extra steps to open the microwave. After which, it resets and then you can open the microwave like normal. This needs to be reversed! Mine not reliable, poor functionality & design

I bought a built-in then & it lasted me 16 years, until July 2025. My cooking habits have not changed, I use it almost every day for light cooking such as frozen vegetables, fresh vegetables, hot cereal, pancakes, defrosting, heating left-overs, cooking gravy & so on. Just “Okay”

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave is just average. I got it to replace a Whirlpool microwave that was previously in the home. I don’t think there have been any real changes in the microwave other than the child lock feature. The lever to open the door is pretty loose. The clock also does not keep time and needs to be reset often. Overall, I am disappointed but needed to fill the space with the same size microwave.

Great Programs to Prepare Meals

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product, love all the programs you can use from melting butter, defrosting your dinner or making popcorn. There is a list of the settings for each program printed inside the microwave on the top door trim so you aren't having to look up the info in your manual. Plenty of power so food cooks quickly and lots room for large items. Had this microwave for 5 plus months and couldn't be happier, its so easy to keep clean.

Don't purchase appliances online from Lowe's

Purchased a counter top Whirlpool microwave that wouldn't heat. After days and countless hours on the phone with Whirlpool, they provided a case number and said a credit would be given to Lowe's. I would receive reimbursement from Lowe's once the microwave was returned.
