Vornado 23.85-in High Velocity Indoor Window Fan, in White

Very Good Fan

Very good, low profile fan that does exactly what it was intended to do: bring fresh air in from the outside. I was really happy that the relatively narrow depth fit inside my screen so I did not have to remove it, the flow is strong, and the fan is quiet. The one small issue that decreased this to four stars from five was that there was a persistent electrical/mechanical odor in the airflow for about the first month. Otherwise, a great product I will purchase again for other rooms.

No bug screen

It's a very sleek fan, quiet and efficient, but there is no screen to keep bugs out of your house if you’re blowing cool air in from outside. I can’t imagine why a manufacturer would not have designed one in the unit, seems like a no brainier.

6 months

Only lasted 6 months before turbine destroyed itself throwing shards everywhere

Not a good fit

Although the window fan works well, the fit does not. It is advertised to fit windows 33'-38" wide. However the styrofoam blocks that are included are supposed to be used to fit in the spaces on either side of the wider windows but they do not work well. It is difficult to cut them to fit and there are always gaps. A nice product but not for windows wider than the unit.

It works great in a small room

Takes hot air out and brings cold air in

A reliable compact fan

I have not used my new ones yet this season, but this order was for 2 more of the exact make & model that I bought last year. Effective & reliable window fans, compact size :), with minimal unnecessary microchip/ digital trash that I don't need. With easy push buttons, the fan works on 3 speeds either blowing into the house or as exhaust to outside. Just a simple, effective cooling machine that is easy to install and to store during the winter.

Difficult to maneuver when moving it.

I have always purchased Vornado fans and overall this is a good one. It’s quiet and compact. My complaint would be the lack of decent handles to move it. It has awkward handholds on either end in the front making it very difficult to grasp. Poor design by the engineers.

Low profile and can leave the screen in

Low profile. Quiet.

Great for those horizontal windows

It's been doing a great job of removing warm hair out. I found the little switch that goes between push and pull very fancy. It's automatic

Meh

I ordered this fan as a replacement for a twin window fan. The nice thing about this fan is that it is smaller, less bulky than the twin window fans out there and it is quieter. However, it does not produce as much air flow, does not come with a remote and the adjustable blocks are lacking (I still had a spaces) . I would say that this fan is over priced unless looks and noise is the primary reason for the purchase.
