This low horizontal chest puts two wide shallow drawers into a case 24-in wide by 13.5-in deep that stands just 15-in tall, so it fits under a desk, inside a wardrobe base or beside a bed as a compact nightstand. Each drawer opens to a 20.5-in by 11.5-in by 3.5-in interior, a shape suited to A4 folders, sketchbooks and flat-packed linens that would tumble around in a deeper drawer. A pull rail runs the full width of each front alongside the moulded handle, so a drawer can be opened from anywhere along its face rather than only at the centre. The case is built with a flat top and a matching base, which lets a second or third unit stack squarely on top to grow the storage upward rather than along the wall. The particleboard carcass carries a scratch-resistant waterproof finish, so a knocked mug wipes off the top instead of soaking into the edge banding. Assembly is required and an illustrated guide is included.
