Worked great. It’s key component for the color lime.

Easy application for new drywall/mud

Was able to apply this with a roller which was convenient and speeds up overall paint job time. I’m letting it dry overnight to be safe that so it sticks onto likewise paint properly. I mixed aggressively because it feels heavier and thicker than regular paint. I used this over newly installed drywall for my bathroom remodel so it was very easy to apply since I don’t have to worry about existing layers of paint

I liked that it was very think, but you need to use the right type of roller

Trust the process

Love the finish. It’s a process and you must be dedicated. This is the second room I’ve done. This color didn’t turn out as dark and dimensional as I expected but I still am happy with the results. More of a beige than a cream

Not a good primer for limewash

I ordered this on a whim because I ran out of my mineral primer from Color Atelier, which is great. When I painted using the Vasari primer (I did mix it well with a power mixer) it had a milky color to it. Compared to the other primer, it was not good at all. See the photo. The very white paint is one coat of the Color Atelier primer, and the light one is one coat of Vasari. With this, I would need at least three coats to cover the color underneath. Save your time and money and buy a better prim...

Beware! Not for lime paint but for lime paster.

A plaster professional here: This is plaster primer, it is specifically for lime based plaster - not to be confused with lime paint! It is Intended to be thick and gritty. Stir it thoroughly before using. If you mistakenly use in line paint it will likely cause a rough and gritty surface. It’s great for lime plaster. We’ve used it for years in our Venetian Plaster business.
