Camassia leichtlinii is often referred to as Camassia Quamash, a native American name. It produces linear strap-shaped leaves and star shaped flowers that rise above a foliage clump. Best planted in groups of 12 or more. May be planted just about anywhere including the edge of a water garden or pond. Best left undisturbed once located. This species blooms blue with yellow anthers.
