Caladiums are indigenous to Brazil and neighboring areas of South and Central America, where they grow in open areas of forests and along river banks. These tender bulbs are commercially cultivated in the sub tropics of Florida and Brazil. Caladiums love and require warmth and are easy to grow and maintain. They are known for their lush, contrasting edges, veins and multi-colored tropical foliage. Caladiums will produce unusual, white flowers that resemble pods. They are best grown grouped in the garden or in containers. Gingerland caladiums have creamy white leaves with delicate raspberry specks and contrasting green margin. This is a particularly nice caladium for hanging baskets or patio pots. Great for borders in front of taller plants.
