find the lumber in the yard before purchasing.
Purchased at i store counter. looked in yard for 20 minutes to find only 6 pieces that looked like cork screws. Then had to stand in line at refund counter to cancel order. Not worth the 60 mile drive and service was lacking (and that is being nice)

Customer service is what receives 5 stars. The ordering, acknowledgement and product pick up experiences were all outstanding. The quality of the product receives 1 star. I only bought four pieces for a minor project, but all four pieces were warped and somewhat twisted. Were I to have taken the time to go to the source and select my own product, all four of the pieces I received would have been culled out.
Went to 3 different stores
None of the stores that carry cedar, and the ones that did, had a lot of rejects that can't even be considered 3rd grade. I was doing two projects. The one that required the 2x2x8 was to be a center point on my wife's flower garden. I got the best available and went to two different stores to get enough and still had to take substandard pieces. I actually got more than needed and cut out the bad sections.
