This cabinet drawer front features a traditional edge profile. All drawer fronts are manufactured and shipped from the USA. This style is available also in hard maple, paint grade hard maple and cherry. Drawer fronts are available in custom sizes. Why is a door 90% the price of an entire cabinet?

Riddle me this. Seriously, why is a single DOOR almost 90% the price of an ENTIRE cabinet? Does that make any sense at all? A door is basically a plank with trim. The cabinet is an entire box, plus hinge hardware. Where is the discrepancy here? Are we just getting hosed?
