With a hardness scale rating of 5 and a Janka hardness rating in the 2501+ range,these floors perform well in busy homes as well as light residential
Stranded bamboo is valued for its strength, it has a Janka hardness rating that is two to three times stronger than oak, unlike wood, bamboo has no rays or knots, allowing it to withstand more stress throughout the length of each stalk
With the base stability of a high density fiberboard core combined with the unique hardness of strand bamboo, you can expect this floor to outperform most hardwood products
2mm bamboo wear layer+ 6.5mm high density HDF core+ 1.5mm fast-growing ubiquitous poplar base, this base is a added layer balances the structure of the plank
This makes the plank stable and able to install on or above grade, its licensed click technology allows this floor to be floated over a pad for easy installation

Awful. Just awful. 2nd review: update
What a nightmare this stuff is. Whole thing creaky and crackley, now i have joints comming apart, bowing upward, separating completely from the subfloor. What a waste of money i dont have and so much work. Ruined my house. Im disgusted. Please dont be like me, save yourself, please dont buy this stuff, you will regret it so so badly.

Ok. after 6 months, and I've literally installed 100s of floors, buckling, cupping, separating and scratches very easily. not sold in stores so you really don't know what you're getting but looks good in a picture. after examining the floor piece, there are several manufacturers mistakes. 1.No butt end lip, caused cupping. 2. three different woods that expand and contract differently, caused separating and buckling. front lip smooth, not grooved, also caused separating. backing could have been ...
Wouldn’t buy this flooring again.
I have Installed a few floors in the past, with little or not problem. This floor was very temperamental and very susceptible to making a “crackling” sound when walked on. Before anyone blames the installer, I will admit there are plenty out there who are better.. but this isn’t my first floor.. I started over several times, going to great lengths to ensure installation wasn’t the cause.. and it’s possible I made a mistake..but I was unable to completely eliminate the crackling sound.
