What Customers Are Saying

Customers are divided on this bird feeder. Many praise its ability to attract finches and appreciate the adjustable ports, large capacity, and attractive design. However, a significant portion report that plastic components crack, detach, or break within days or weeks of normal use. Squirrels frequently chew through wires or destroy the feeder despite durability claims. Some customers found safflower seeds help deter squirrels, but this requires extra effort. Overall, durability and squirrel resistance concerns substantially undermine satisfaction for many reviewers.

Nice feeder. Some seed size and squirrel issues.

Nice feeder with a pleasing design and with some nice features, including the dial up size openings at each of the perches. But with some issues with the seed feeding. If you buy bird feed with sunflower or corn built into it, you may have to shake the feeder now and then or work with it. Also, it is not squirrel proof. Ours had been chewed badly on most of the perches in just one day of hanging up. So be prepared to squirrel proof it in some way.
