Erik Ruuth Clematis was bred in Sweden, and has a shining white coloration with an intriguing ruffled form, creating the appearance of a layered wedding cake. Early flowers open in early spring and with a pale green midrib that matures to a pristine white.It has attractive yellow centers that highlight the brightness of the white sepals. Erik Ruuth is best grown on a support, and can be planted along arches or fencing. Grows 5 to 9 feet tall and spreads up to 48 inches wide.
