Jindai Aster is a Japanese bred aster that thrives late in the season. Jindai is smaller than other asters, growing 4 to 5 feet tall making it a manageable size for borders and containers. This aster won't require staking, and in the fall while other asters are fading, the flowers of Jindai will provide bright color right up to the first freeze. Attractive, thin petals in pink and purple ring bright centers, providing much-appreciated foraging for fall pollinators and songbirds.
