Dappled Willow has variegated leaves that hold up well to all conditions, they resist sunburn better than your average variegated variety and tolerates rainy and windy weather, this is a compact shrub form of the willow with an upright habit, it can bring structure as well as interest planted as a hedgerow or foundation planting. Even when the leaves fall, the shiny red stems keep the plant looking lively and particularly festive against fresh-fallen snow. Hardy in USDA zones 5 to 9.
