With one of the longest bloom periods, the Muskogee is a great choice if you are looking for a stately crape myrtle to line a path, road, or property line. Developed by the US National Arboretum in 1978, this myrtle grows to about 20 ft. tall and produces light lavender flowers all summer long. The leaves are glossy green during the growing months and turn yellow or red in the fall. The Muskogee is very hardy and exhibits a high mildew resistance. It experiences about 120 days of flowering. The plant is shipped in a #1 pot with a minimum tree height of 12 inches and is hardy in USDA zones: 7-9.
