I bought this landscape timber and used to mount a bluebird camera house and it works great very sturdy and it’s gonna a while! I have several friends who have done this as well.

Excellent help when picking up landscape timbers. Tara loaded and addressed my concerns about loading railroad timbers as they are extremely heavy. Will re-evaluate purchase prior to picking up remaining purchase.

hand pick your own lumber

I was foolish. My on line Order for pickup contained warped and splintery timbers. As if Lowes was pushing their rejects on me for inventory cleanup and their profit benefit. Next time, I will hand pick by myself to avoid the need for replacement of junk pieces.

So many uses

I love having a few of these around because I can always think of some ways to use them around my home. These were use to build a ramp to get my zero turn mower into the shed. I also cut others to build a retainer for the mulch around my new cypress trees.

Perfect for my uses

There were many to pick from. They were straight, and fresh. When I drilled holes, the wood inside was moist. The timbers were of quality wood, each with its own character, which gave the project done more than just edging. Solid choice for clean landscape border

I used these timbers to build a landscape board and they worked out really well. They were straight easy to work with and made it simple to get a clean finished at around the yard installation went smoothly and they lined up nicely once set in place after painting them the border really pulled everything together and gave the yard a more polished look overall they were a solid choice for this project and did exactly what I needed.

Bowed wood

Ordered 3pc for a driveway edging and 2 out of the three were bowed and not straight. Disappointing that big box stores can’t supply straight wood.

Terrible Quality!

We ordered 40 of these boards to use as edging around our boulevard gardens. When they arrived, over half of the boards were significantly cracked or bowed beyond use, and I'm not just talking about a little crack in the wood; I'm talking about the entire board. One of the bowed boards is so curved it looks like a rainbow!
