What Customers Are Saying
The pressure treated deck boards are of mixed quality, with some customers reporting straight, knot-free boards suitable for their projects, while others had to sort through numerous defective boards with issues like warping, splitting, and heavy knots to find a few usable pieces. The boards are generally affordable and suitable for basic outdoor projects, but may not be durable enough for long-term use or high-traffic areas. Customers recommend carefully inspecting the boards in-store and letting them dry out before applying sealant or stain to help prevent cracking and warping over time.

Upon arrival I knew that I would need help but, little did I know that I would meet Lucas and his assistant Clayton. I explained to Lucas that I needed the decking boards for a VBS church project but, had no way to cut them. It was late in the evening and he helped me and was very professional as was Clayton. They both then loaded the lumber as well which was a true Godsend since I had recently had shoulder surgery and this project is being completed by the women of our church. These guys are de...

Lumber purchase
Took over an hour to load my lumber that I exactly wanted to be delivered and was told by employee and management that it would be my would delivered. So I purchased and marked all of my wood I hand picked out. When delivered none of it was my would that I spent so much time loading. I would never buy wood from Loews again.
Tape measure needed.
Lowes website shows a picture of a piece of wood with a 6" width. I didn't expect them to be exact but when I checked them with a tape the sizes varied from 5-1/4 up to 5-3/4. Don't try and replace planks on a deck and expect them to fit. You might have to trim some and round them off or have excessive gaps between the boards. The good thing was that they were at least straight.

Perfect for replacing deck with wood boards.
I was replacing the deck boards on my deck and they were long enough so I could span the length of my deck with one board. The condition of the boards was great. After replacing my deck boards friends and family have complimented me on my deck.

Pressure Treated deck boards
I bought the 5/4 pressure treated deck boards from Lowes as I have always had good experience with them. This was not the case. We were so disappointed with the quality of lumber we didn't know if we would be able to use it on our deck. The first issue was that it was so wet. There was water coming out of the board when it was cut or a screw put in. The second and biggest issue, was the inconsistent width of boards. They were not all 5/4, so that made the gaps very inconsistent. Along with that ...
