As a disabled veteran, there are various appliances needed in my home to make life less daunting. This dryer is a piece of junk. We have a Samsung washer ordered fifteen years ago from QVC. It works like a charm. We have had this junk for two years, and the drum will not turn. Why? Should I ask the VA to replace it? Thank you for nothing Lowes.

Ridiculous

Samsung washer from QVC still working after fifteen years. The dryer is two years old and stopped working today. It goes through the motions of counting down and playing music. I have music. I need the clothes dry.

Super Noisy, already having problems

2 months into ownership and this thing has a loud buzzing sound when the heating element is warming up that I can hear across the house, and it’s not a small house. Starting throwing error codes almost immediately. It does dry pretty well and looks nice but I am very concerned about longevity of this unit.

Exchange

My Samsung dryer had to be swapped due to drum noise I had for 4 days. Angel and the young man with him were so polite and had my dryer out and new one in under 20 minutes. Angel got everything connected and turned it on and no noise. Very nice young men and hope if I need another appliance they are the installers.

I’m very happy with the Samsung washer dryer. I’m very unhappy that Lowe’s refused my husband’s military discount. Why offer it if you don’t follow through. Also they sent the wrong duo which was $1000.00 more than the ones it wanted I ended up waiting 2 weeks for the ones I wanted. As of this date, I still haven’t received the refund on the wrong set! Probably won’t be going back to Lowe’s for anymore appliances.

Do not buy this product!

We purchased a brand-new Samsung washer and dryer bundle at the end of November 2025. Lowes assigned professional installers to come and install appliances at our new home, which they did last week of November, 2025. A month later, In the end of December we moved in to our new home, and tested out the new appliances and found out that it does not dry corre tky and steams up the entire laundry room. Avoid Samsung appliances

Do your local landfill a favor and avoid Samsung appliances. First unit was defective on delivery. Replacement unit lasted 18 months and the cost to fix means I am better off buying a new dryer. Samsung and Lowe's offered nothing as the warranty is only 1 year. Go with LG instead from a retailer other than Lowe's.

Not Happy

I purchased the dryer online through the Cedar Rapids, IA Lowe’s. I also purchased the required installation kit that qualified for free installation. They showed up two hours before the scheduled deliver time so I wasn't home when they arrived. My wife was not aware of the arrangement since I told her I would be there when they arrived, so she was caught unprepared.
