Works great.

Used for a custom charcoal furnace. Fair warning it dries quicker than normal mortar, but it works great. I used this with Old Castle firebrick and have had no issues thus far.

Specific Need-Convenience Purchase

When you need pre-blended fire clay mortar, you need it now. 4 stars for product performance PLUS 1 star for the convenience of it being on the shelf at my Lowe's store. This is such a convenience and time saver for me to be able to pick up fire clay mortar locally.

High Heat Mortar-So easy to use

Husband and I finishing up outdoor brick BBQ. We wanted to coast the insides with no clue what to use. Walking down concrete aisle and see SAKRETE HIGH HEAT MORTAR bags. Wow, the answer was right there! Bought a couple bags. It mixed up so easy ad's creamy. Applied a couple coats and it worked like a charm. Dried a nice white. Thank you to Lowe's for providing us with an answer!
