Saw this on a previous shopping, and took pics of the specs and went home to verify my dimensions on my lp record. Next time I went to Lowes which was this morning Jan 16th, 2020, I bought two of them and brought it home..thinking what a great buy to store my overstocked collections. Great boxes for most anything

I bought 2 of these crates before. At that time I was remembering the milk crate that my father used when delivering milk in the '50s and '60s. I wanted them for my VHS tapes. Not an ideal item for use in the home

My wife picked up 2 of these for a shelf in our home. They were the besy 2 out of 37 in the store. I spent almost 2 hours with an random orbital sander and about $20 worth of different grades of sandpaper, just to sand thems down enough to make them smooth. I also had to route the handles because there isn’t enough room to sand them by hand. On top of that the slats on the containers kept falling off so I had to use ring shank nails to reattach them. Not the same quality

I purchased 6 pine crates by Homegrown Wood Products in my neighborhood Lowes store. They are very simple, yet nicely finished. My store does not appear to have them anymore, so I thought I'd order some online. The ones I ordered arrived on time and in good condition, but they are not manufactured by the same company and the quality is not nearly as nice, for example the side edges are not smooth and, overall, the crate itself is not finished as well. Storage crate or shelf?

I went in to buy shelving for my wife and I's sewing room. Shelving was way too overpriced. Then, there they were, storage crates. Well, the need for shelves brought out the artsy side of me and I immediately saw myself painting it, making painted squares with stitching to make it look like a quilt and the turned it on it's side, and mounted the bottom to the wall. I purchased this little crate to use for a centerpiece on my back porch. After all the Fall foliage, small gourds & pumpkins were arranged I attached two 12" scarecrows to the outside edges & a sign that said "Happy Fall Y'all!" in front. It turned out adorable! Perfect for crafting!

Expensive kindling

Terrible craftmanship! 5 out of 5 crates ordered were horrible in quality. A toddler could have done better. Misaligned slats in all directions, cracked slats, cheap thin wood. Heavily splinted. Not worth the money or useful for crafting, storage, anything really. Returned all 5 and will look elsewhere for decent natural wood crates. Lowe's should consider parting ways with this manufacturer!

Not worth the price...

Stackable? I wouldn't trust it for any kind of stacking (even empties!). Had to go in with larger nails and reinforce all the slats, as they were pulling away from the sides as soon as I brought it home. I would have returned it instead, but really needed it for a certain spot in which it fit perfectly. Do not recommend, as it is very cheaply made.

This crate is not 12.5" in width...

I picked up to put vinyl records in the crate. They don't fit in the box so I measure the box and the outside dimension is onyly 12.25". So, the records don't fit. Not happy!
