Very effective ice maker
Fits, looks and works as advertised. Made ice in about 30 minutes after I made the connections. Rather quiet too. I have it installed under my counter. It was easy to install. Just needed three things, water supply (comes with 6' supply hose designed for quick connect - which was really easy), drain (comes with 6' drain hose), outlet for power. drain pump suggestion
I have asked about the drain pump, we only found out after we had floor in our company Kitchen. With that being said what is best drain pump to use on this machine. Floor Drain is not an option. I contact the company and they absolutely NO HELP. We need to know what is the best one to buy. NO one can seem to give me a straight answer.

Fast Ice Production - Louder Fan than Last Ice Mak
This product makes a lot of ice quickly. We have had a few ice makers over the years and we hope this one will give better value with the low cost. It is louder than our past ice makers with a loud fan that runs when the compressor is running. Does no bother us as this just blends in with refrigerator and other noises in our kitchen. Great in home ice maker
Installation was fairly simple, ice is great. The volume of production is perfect. We've had both Whirlpool and Scotsman in home ice makers in the past. Our previous machines were much more expensive than this one and we were not satisfied with the ice production or how long the ice lasted once you put it to use. It just melted way too fast and watered down your drinks. This go around we wanted to see if we could get a less expensive machine that we could be satisfied with. This one is great.

Great for our downstairs playroom
This has been the perfect addition to our downstairs playroom we set up for the kids. We already had a mini refrigerator but this allows them to hang out with their friends and also fill up their water jugs when the come in from practicing soccer or playing at the playground. My husband build a nook in the island and it fits nicely under the countertip. Perfect height and width. Not loud when it's dropping it and just a hum if there's not any noise (which isn't often)
