East to Apply, Takes 3 Coats
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Working on a big kitchen remodel and painting our old wooden cabinets. Per the instructions, make sure you use a decreaser (I used TSP) prior to priming, plus a primer coat before applying the cabinet paint. It's a lot of upfront work but I'm hoping this makes for an application that doesn't easily chip- the primer will help the tannins of the wood to not bleed through. I’ve been wanting to paint the bottom half of my cabinets and this gave me the perfect opportunity. It was easy to apply with little prep. It covered in about 2 coats. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely disappointed with this paint. My kitchen cabinets were already painted white but thought I would give them a refresh and the color was a tad whiter than what was on there. After a light sand on cabinets, I had to apply 3 coats. It does state to use a primer but with my cabinets already being white, I didnt think I really needed to prime. They do look good however, it took more time to cover.
