A huge waste of money. The Locking Lever for the depth guage is constantly coming loose while saw is in use. I have gone thru too much wood because the cuts gradually got deeper with each use. Very hard to notch my wood because of this issue.
Working re owned
Purchased a new saw combo but received after opening the package a used machine with a very used blade and without instructions. The Allen wrench for the machine was in a plastic bag with the very used blade.

Good price, good product.I love shopping at lowe's
I like it because it gets small projects. Done only thing I didn't really care for is where the switch is, and it could be lightweight.
Safety Trigger
About the red safety trigger... you just need to press it to start the blade, then you can release it and keep cutting. I press the button with my other hand, start the blade running, then I can let go of the safety button and keep cutting. Its more of a two step process so that it can't be easy for kids to use.

Ok, but needs improvements
The grip is the most un-ergonomic handle I've ever held. Not sure if the designers actually spent an entire day ripping paneling with it, but I doubt it. Your wrist is positioned at an unnatural angle and as a result it's extremely difficult to depress the trigger lock while simultaneously pressing the trigger. The accessory rip guide is very handy but I dislike that you have to use an allen wrench to tighten and loosen it. Should have been a spring loaded thumb screw instead. That would make ...
