This worked with my 40+ year old 3/4" buried water pipe and doesnt leak at all.

Saves time and money
This coupled with a sprinkler threaded hole saved me a lot of trouble. I only had to cut enough pipe to slide this in on one side, then slide it over the other side. I didn’t have to heat and bend or install a union in my buried irrigation line. Also didn’t have to buy PVC cement!
