Poor silicone based construction
We were quite disappointed with the poor silicone based construction of these glass block Windows. There are extremely large voids of just air between all the blocks. Since only a thin bead of silicone is used to “glue” blocks together, they are certainly not airtight and not watertight. We proved this because we decided to just fill all the voids with glass block mortar to reinforce the windows, some of which leaked out the silicone seamed areas.
