QuietWarmth 120-volt Radiant Joist 5-ft x 16-in Underfloor heating mat 6.67-sq ft

So far, not impressed

My floor is no longer cold but still not warm. I keep turning up the thermostat. Just set it at 79. I read a suggestion to set it at 73. That didn’t warm the floor at all. It’s been running a couple weeks.

Warm floors, great product

This is absolutely a great way to hear your floors as an afterthought. Many times we don't realize how come a floor will be till it's too late. This product allows you to have the warm floors even after your have installed them. Great product.

Toasty tiles

Easy to install. I got 2-5'x16" mats for my bathroom and they work great. The best part is they only draw .34 amps per mat. A 100 watt incandescent light draws about .9 amps to give a comparison.

Doesn't work....at all

Fortunately I hooked it up to power before installing. After 24 hours of drawing 50 watts, there was no perceptible heat. The pad was the exact same ambient temperature. No heat at all. I will be returning.

Easy to install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this in our entry way foyer. Very easy to install and works well for our needs. We plan to expand the heated flooring into our mud room with hopes of connecting to what we have already installed.

Really is quiet and warm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to put in my bathroom underneath the hardwood floor. It was super fast and easy to install. I really like the fact that I didn't have to tear up the floor to install it. It's so quiet that I forget it's even there. The floor stays nice and warm. So warm that my dogs favorite spot to lay is now on the bathroom floor.

Good product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my QuietWarmth Retrofit Radiant Heat Film about two weeks ago. I read the directions and was surprised as to how easy the installation was. The film rolled out easily as I stapled it into place between the floor joists. Even wiring it to the thermostat was fairly simple if you follow the directions and know a little bit about wiring electrical outlets. It does a good job warming the ceramic floor in my kitchen. I have not had it long...

Ease of use

wow this is nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this in our bathroom. The instructions are very easy to follow. It works great and is awesome for out cold bathroom floor. We live in an older house and I didn't wanna do a total remodel and this fit in our budget.

it works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the effect solution to my heating problems in the kitchen of the old farmhouse we bought. The kitchen was added on sometime in the early 1900.'s and the floor was always cold by the sink as it was on an outer wall. This was easy to install in the crawlspace and now the floor is nice and toasty!
