Everything was what I expected - color, size, and appearance. If you follow the instructions carefully and pay attention to detail, it will be pretty easy to assemble with two people. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because one section of slats is a little too short and keeps popping up over the dowels. I had to drill in a couple screws and then it was fine, but that was frustrating.

Great looking bed

It came packed very well with no damage. Instructions were well written and easy to follow. Seems very sturdy and looks great. The only problem I had was putting in the drawer bottoms. I loosed the screws holding the sides together and then retightened them after sliding bottom in.

Dangerous

I bought this bed for my daughter. It arrived on time. Assembly started easy, but ended with a trip to the hospital. While assembling the metal support pieces, I slid forward to tighten a screw. My knee slide across the metal support piece and sliced my knee open resulting in 5 stitches and and a terrible scar! There is no reason for any part of a bed to be that sharp. Definitely buying the bed was a painful mistake!
