Started leaking after a few years

I was happy with this kitchen faucet I bought a few years ago. It has not discolored or retained any of that white hard water stuff BUT ....it started leaking from the on/off handle and there's no way to remove only this part to fix it. This is not an inexpensive faucet so I'm not happy that it did not last and to only find out it's a common issue.
