Test gauge WAS the leak
I bought this test gauge to perform a leak test on a Pro-Flex and black iron pipe propane distribution system I had built. My first test at 5 psig leaked down in about a minute. I was disappointed,but checked everything and found no leaks. I repressurized the system and had the same leaky result, but could not findthe leak. Then I decided to check the new Pro-Flex gauge. don't forget to check the gauge for leaks
I replumbed some of my gas line to reroute it. I bought this gauge to do a gas line test and after searching joints for leaks and several days of the pressure dropping and not finding leaks with soap and water. I sprayed the gauge fitting. Found my leak.
