Keep weeds out of your garden with Ortho® Weed Preventer for Garden Landscapes. This weed control product prevents garden weeds for up to 3 months. Use this pre-emergent weed control around plants to prevent chickweed, knotweed, purslane, pigweed, Russian thistle, stinging nettle, barnyard grass, crabgrass, foxtail, and others as listed. In addition, it won't harm over 200 garden plants including roses, flowers, shrubs, trees and groundcovers (see label for complete list of plants). This gardening product may also be used in vegetable gardens per label directions. To apply, sprinkle product around plants using the listed rates on the label. Rake into the top 1-3 inches of soil. For established plants, water in lightly to establish weed barrier. If you have visible weeds, remove them first and level the soil prior to application. Do not allow people or pets to enter the treated area until dusts have settled or until watering-in is complete and the surface is dry.
