The robust bar-and-plate core design supports over 500 horsepower thanks to its substantial dimensions: a 20-inch core length, stepped height of 6 inches on the lower side and 8 inches on the taller side, and a 5-inch thickness. End-to-end length measures approximately 27 inches, and the 3.25-inch inlet and outlet ports reduce flow restriction. Overall intercooler size is 520 mm x 200 mm x 145 mm. Constructed with a black finish to resist corrosion and blend seamlessly with engine bay aesthetics. Installation requires spacer placement depending on vehicle variant: for 135i, 335i, and Z4 35i, place spacer below intercooler bracket for 1M and Z4 35is, place spacer between intercooler bracket and vehicle mounting point. Compatible with 2008-2013 BMW 135i E82/E88, 2006-2012 335i/335xi E90/E91/E92/E93, 2011-2013 1M E82, and 2009-2017 Z4 E89 35i/35is with gas engines only.
