We loved the tree right out of the box. Great shape and realistic look! The only issue was that the male end of the top section is smaller in diameter than the female end of the middle section that it inserts into causing the connection to be a bit unstable.

Nice tree, good for crowded rooms
Nice tree for crowded rooms! One warning: if you have small children or pets you WILL need to anchor the base somehow. The tree base is NOT sturdy enough to keep it from toppling over if it's bumped or grabbed by little hands. Just be prepared to weight it down somehow to avoid a disaster. :)

The tree looks good from afar but still not like the real thing. We use it for window decoration without any ornaments which is okay. However if you want it to really look good you will need to put a lot of decoration to hide the inner workings of the tree
