Just what we needed!
This gate latch worked great for the new fence and gate I constructed. It works great and looks even better. The only downfall would be that there are really no instructions with the kit. I have vast mechanical and construction experience, however the once in a while do it yourselver may find this a bit perplexing.

Beautiful looking latch
The latch is made of decent quality but isn't powder coated so I'm sure it will wear quickly. I've already seen some of the paint chipping off at the strike plate. The other issue was there were zero instructions on what size drill bit would be needed.

Awesome door style fence gate latch
I purchased this as I wanted a more refined gate latch than most of the common options and have been VERY happy with it so far, especially for the price as compared to the premium options I wasn't sure I could bite the bullet on. I can't speak to the strength of everything as I have a soft close on my gate, so I'll say do yourself a favor and get a soft close for your gate too.
