Prevent subsurface water from flooding your property with prefabricated Strip Drain, an alternative to perforated pipe systems that offers more open surface area for water collection. This lightweight drainage solution collects excess water and directs it to designated drainage outlets, where Strip Drain End Outlet (sold separately) is used to connect Strip Drain to outlet pipe Strip Drain can be used in conjunction with Sheet Drain to collect and transport subsurface water away from a foundation or retaining wall to prevent water damage. While Sheet Drain is installed on surface walls, Strip Drain is installed below at the footing along the perimeter of the structure. Strip Drain comes preassembled with a dimpled perforated polymeric core wrapped in polypropylene geotextile filter fabric to prevent soil and sand from entering and potentially clogging the drainage system. This allows the collection of water from both sides to flow through to the drainage exits by gravity. Each roll of Strip Drain measures 6 inch X 50 ft., and can be cut to length. The core is 1 inch thick, and features an in-plane flow rate of 21 GPM/ft.
