Vibrating piece of junk
We've had this for years and the motors and fans on these are junk. They'll vibrate the stuff off the walls. Would not recommend any of the Mr Heater Unit that run off natural gas. JUNK
Very happy
I purchased this unit just after Christmas. I got everything ran and hooked up in one day to include the gas line and power and vented out the sidewall of my garage. I am currently working on getting insulation for my walls and garage door, with that said before insulating I was working in my garage on New Year’s Day with it only being 7 degrees outside and I was nice a toasty in my garage with only a t shirt on. I love this unit.

Heater in the garage
the unit was easy to install. Light weight as well. The instructions were easy to follow. I did use a HVAC duct lift to lift it in place, but three guys might be able to lift it but not one person. The thermostat is just a cheat one that came with it. I'm using it for now but I plan on changing it with a better one.

A great solution for garage heat/good price
The Big Maxx 50k unit heater is a great bargain of a heater. My installation took several trips back to lowes for additional parts, and gas pipes to be threaded. If anyone is considering this unit (or a similar garage heater) I would highly recommended they research all building codes for; 1. ducting heated category 1 and category 3 appliances 2. Gas supply BTU output and requirements for their entire home 3. Electrical circuit installation from panel on a new circuit 4. Hanging appliances from...

Great heater cover a two car g a rage very easily.
50,000 but unit works great in two car garage. The exhaust piping is stainless steel and not allowed to use just regular exhaust piping.
Do not buy
Would never buy MR Heater again. Only used a few times last year and one time this year because it wont turn on. Mr Heater does not stand by there product.Save your self time and money buy something else.
Great heater
Bought the this unit at Lowes 3 years ago. My HVAC friend helped me install. He was more impressed with Big Maxx than the "Hot Dog" units he has installed over the years. Quieter and a huge savings. My neighbor was so impressed, we install one for him weeks later. Unit performance has been flawless. I added a programmable thermostat to set garage temps for my preferences. Should have put one in my garage years ago!
