This infrared gun is amazing. It will let you know your griddle temperature before putting food on to cook. It also lets you check food temperatures as well. Very well made.

Seems to be very accurate and it easy to use. I love that the probe folds into the handle. Hold the reading on the screen so it's easy to take the temp and then read. Being able to check surface temp of the griddle or temp of the bbq lid with the laser is very helpful!!!
