More wood than soil
I bought 55 bags of this soil and unfortunately it seems like there is more wood chips than soil. My vegetables are not doing well. Where’s the quality control? Or it is it intentional in an attempt to cut costs?

Great soil as far as how plants like it but every time I buy some I get infested with Fungus Gnats. Last year (4-2024) I had to toss out all my plants because I could not get rid of them. Then I waited until 3/2025 to buy more plants one at a time to make sure none had gnats. And then after 5 new plants and no gnats I made the BIG mistake of buying MG again. I figured maybe it was an infestation at their plant. Well, within a week I started seeing them again! ARHGGG! And they were not the same t...
