I ordered a patio door, the door lock is missing, I called Lowes South San Jose many times, nobody answering the phone.

Sliding Doors - Wouldn't Buy Again

We had three Tuscany V400 sliding doors installed. The doors are roughly 72" wide by 80" tall. They are very heavy and are hard to open, especially from the outside. The interior handle can be gripped with your hand, however the exterior handle can only be gripped with your finger tips. To try and open these heavy doors with your finger tips is extremely hard. Bad screen door lock

I like the patio door it’s a great window but the sliding door that came with it has a not user friendly door lock handle it is a real nail breaker I would recommend you redesign the lock of the screen door

Frustrated

My 1 star is because I bought new sliding doors, I want to switch the frames only, from replacement to new construction, just the frames, not the glass, they quoted me the same price that I just paid for window panels and frames, how can just buying frames be the same price as buying window panels and frames???

Sun filtering

Door has been installed for 3 months, it works easily and filter the sunlight beautifully.

Doors

These are the absolute worst doors you could possibly buy. They feel like plastic doors that belong in a Barbie House. And, the frame around them is so raised that you and all your friends will trip and fall entering and exiting. They're a liability in addition to being awful looking.

Good Patio Door And Customer Service

I bought this new sliding door and the contractor who installed it didn’t install it properly and wouldn’t lock properly . I emailed Milgard and they replied ,came out and fixed the door . I am so happy that it finally locks properly . Thanks to their customer service technician I will consider Milgard again in my next window or door project .

Problems from factory, poor quality control

Two days ago had 2 Milgard sliding doors and 5 windows installed by a local retailer. Both doors had issues with security latch mechanism - one where the lever to operate the security latch was misaligned and did not sit in the cut out area on the vinyl door leaving an opening I can stick my finger into and making it difficult to get my fat fingers under the lever to activate it. Why don’t you supply the proper number of screw p

I like the windows and don’t like the facts you don’t provide enough screw plugs. It seems to be systemic habit as the vender who I bought the windows through, was not provided enough plugs to do the job correctly. Without enough parts to complete the job, how can you expect more than 2 stars.
