[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer on reputation alone. The dryer is modern with plenty of room for clothes. I love the features and the dryer gets very hot. The drum light is very useful and the electronic controls are easy to understand. I love that the filter is big enough to catch all of the lint. The dryer is very loud while the drum is turning, this could be a defect that goes away, but this is a first. I have had a few dryers, never this sound.

Fingers crossed for Reliability

The controls are easy to decipher after reading the manual. Bulky items like comforters may need more than one cycle to fully dry. I do like that the door opens from the bottom, which makes it convenient to unload and fold clothes. One gripe I do have about it is that the metal seems flimsy and bows if I lean against it ...

Very pleased
We are very pleased with our new dryer, also I love this different settings and the sensor button for timing much improved Maytag than I previously had which was 14 years old so I always go to Maytag for my washer dryer combo dryer also has white inside and a deep tub. I know if you try it you will like it.

Rethink purchasing this Dryer
Our dryer was purchased less than 30 days ago. Service technician just left our home. Dryer will need 2 parts to remedy the noise it is making. This kind of quality is unacceptable. Our last Maytag dryer was almost 11 years old so we thought we would go with another one. It was obviously the wrong choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since our purchase of this model dryer, it has performed fine; however, it does on occasion make a rattling sound when running through a cycle. I have checked the leveling nuts on the bottom of the dryer and it appears to be leveled for the floor. The rattling doesn't occur all the time; so I will be watching it through usage. I like the digital controls but have to say that I miss my previous Commercial Technology dryer model that Maytag made ...

Not broke; why the complications?

Now I consider it a "make do", until it falls apart, which won't be long; something electronic that requires some "new board", that will cost as much as a new dryer. Was great until it wasn't
I bought this Maytag dryer about 3 years ago and it has run perfectly fine until the other day I put a load of laundry into it and hit start. It ran for nearly 20 mins and then I heard a thud and it quit. I tried restarting it but no luck. The dryer has power and when I hit start the control panel switches to say "drying" as if it thinks it is working properly. I hold start, it clicks, displays "drying" status and that's it. Nothing more. I tried resetting it ran through all the website troubles...
