Junk, Avoid

The dryer failed a year after the washer. The automated dryer sensor failed 2 years in. After 5 years the bearing and the guides were done. So it was making a grinding and scrapping noise you could hear outside the house. Maytag reliability and dependability days are gone. Whirlpool has ruined the brand. Avoid. I got $6.65 when I took it to the scrap man because it was unusable or affordable repairable after 5 years. JUNK.

Only worked 2 weeks

We’ve had this 6 weeks and it stopped working after 2 weeks. Keeps giving an air flow error. Whirlpool told us who to contact. They came out and replaced a thermistor. Errored again. Replaced it again. Spent hundreds $$ to Clair out dryer vent. Errored again. Came out yet again and was told it wasn’t even the right part. So we have to wait yet another week, and if that doesn’t work it will be another guess and another week. Whirlpool/Maytag customer service is the absolute worst and Lowe’s won...

Appreciate the Appliances

We purchased a Maytag washer, dryer and power cord recently and are very pleased. The sleek look and efficiency of our appliances is beyond compare. We would highly recommend Lowe’s, based on their professionalism and service.

Replaced after 3 years

I purchased the extended warranty. It was repaired, new rollers, at 3 years. The repair did not work. I submitted another claim and instead of repairing it they gave me partial value. I now need to buy another dryer. DON’T BUY THIS ONE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Drying speed is very good, much better than our old dryer. We haven't had any issues with fabric care. The moisture sensing and tumbling action work very well and it is a quite machine. Clothes on the most part out wrinkle free.
