Excellent performance in a simple package.
Great replacement for our 7 year old Whirlpool that was eating it's bearings. Nice capacity. Dries well. Most of all it's SIMPLE. No computers or keypads to give out in a couple of years (as hey often doo.) Just a couple of analog knobs that are reliable and cheap to fix should they ever fail. The 10 year power train warrenty was more of a quality statement than a selling point. I always get teh 5 year extended warrenty from Lowes and replace the appliance if it fails past that date.

Dryer takes forever to dry or doesn’t dry at all
Sadly I am not happy with this dryer. It doesn’t dry unless it’s a very small load. It gets hot but if it is a medium or large loadeverything stays damp. The manufacturer came to look at it and said that the reason is because of the connections in our laundry space. But we’ve never had these problems with other dryers before so I don’t see how that’s true. We are stuck with it wasting power and money till we can afford a new one. I will never be buying another whirlpool or Maytag washer or dryer...

At week 1 working fine
I have only had this product a week. It is working fine so far. It has dried my clothes. The delivery men had trouble getting it through the basement doorway but they finally managed.

I'm a DIYer so, to save a few bucks, I did the installation myself. After meticulously making all the connections, I plugged it in and nothing. I went through the troubleshooting guide and nothing. Not even the light inside would illuminate. Returning and replacing a dryer isn't quite as simple as a toaster i.e.

time dry cycle broke
six weeks in the timed dry cycle broke. bought 5 year warranty. Lowes protection plan says its not in effect until manufacture runs out they sent me to Maytag. Maytag says Lowes should replace within a 90 day purchase. Contact Lowes. I did. They said contact Maytag. grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. As of 58 days from purchase, my dryer is still broke.
