I bought mine two years ago, it stopped working in January. Was told it was the motor. Maytag said they would not cover the motor even though they said there is a 10 year warranty. DO NOT BUY RUN AWAY. And the matching washer, gets plugged up and you have to get a repair person out to fix it cause the drain basket is deep inside the washer. If you are not mechanical you would not want to take the whole think about to empty the drain basket.

Terrible. DO NOT buy. My dryer model is MGD6630HC3. Drum misalignment and heavy shaking of dryer 3 times within the first year and dryer only being 11 months old. Installed in January, then problems started in August (after only 7 months of use), called for repair, they repaired it, then it ran fine until November (after 3 more months of use), called for repair, they repaired it, ran fine for a week, now calling for repair again. This was the second of 2 identical dryers we've received. This first one ran great but wouldn't heat. Any. Returned for a new one. We received it today (4-1-2026). This one wouldn't turn on. No lights. No noises. No power. 0 for 2. We're apparently ignorant because we're now waiting for a promised call today that we didn’t get trying to return it and get a third ordered.
