I just bought this washer last month and wanted to give an update that I had ran numerous loads with it. I haven't had any issues with it. The noise appears to be like any other washing machine I've ran clothes in so not too loud and not too quiet. It seems like it does cut energy cost a little cheaper on than my previous one owned. Disappointed

We purchased a Maytag white large capacity washing machine 8 years ago. It has a label on it top of washer that states it has a 10 year warranty. During spin cycle there is a loud annoying clicking noise and during rinse/drain cycle it often stops draining leaving the clothes filled with water. Adds a disgusting scent to everything you own!

It worked for the first 3 months, now every item of clothing smells like mold immediately. I've cleaned it with every cleaner suggested and sold by Lowe's, ran hot water, the door is only closed while it's running, changed detergent, changed settings, checked drainage... Now I'm using a Laundromat.

Great washer!

This has been a great washer so far. We purchased about a month ago and I have no complaints at all. We were looking for a "plain jane" washer and this has been a great purchase so far.

Large capacity

I like that the dryer has a 70 minute option for drying and at the end it has a cooling down period. It has a large capacity and gets the job done well.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

IT SUCKS SOLD ME A BROKEN ONE. I BOUGHT IT NEW IN BOX AND CASH and I DIDNT INSTALL IT UNTIL 3 days later as I put the first WASH it was taking FOREVER TO WASH AND THEN IT GOT STUCK AND WOULDNT SPIN. I CALLED LOWES IN VISTA AND SAID THEY CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT NOW I HAVE TO DEAL WITH INSURANCE AND IM STILL WAITING DOR THEM TO COME AND FIX. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WASTER OF MONEY AND TIME LITERALLY PAID OVER $600 LOWES DOESNT ACCEPT RETURNS HORRIBLE POLICY

I just want people to know that this isn't the kind of washing machine that agitates (even though it says it agitates)... it just kind of "swirls" the clothes around.. However, the tub is huge so you can wash a comforter in there. But I just feel like it's not cleaning my clothes very well because of the non-agitation type swirl. Would I buy it again? No. Do I hate it? No... hence the three star review.

Spend the extra money and get quality.

The price of everything has gone up and unfortunately we are in a disposable society. I purchased a GE washer and dryer set three years ago and the washer bit the dust. The control panel needed to be replaced and it was too costly to justify it. Hence this purchase. I like Maytag. Cannot trust Maytag name anymore

The only thing I have against Lowes on this transaction is they should not be offering products from a company that does not have the customers interest in mind.
