Sand as advertised

Sand as advertized. I was too cheap to buy play sand so I got a tote. Technically the aggregates are not sifted as evenly and particle size is more variable in this product vs play sand, but my kids love it. Stacks and packs better than play sand because of this.

Is it real?

Its working for what I needed it for, but unsure if its actually the product I ordered. Online there are 2 different types of bulk sand. One of the delivery drivers said they only carry one kind.. a truck comes to fill all of the bulk bags with the same product. Seems a bit odd that 2 types are advertised but they are likely the same product under different names.

the good stuff

If you've got a way to get this home , it's better than 50lb bags & cheaper , too . The only bad thing about picking it up was that the bag had seen much better days & was wrapped in plastic because one of the seams was failing . I needed this much to top dress & re-level a warm season back yard lawn . I managed to cover 1/4 of our irregular shaped lawn & probably could have used 4 bags to do it all . I topped the sand with Hapi-Gro mushroom compost which I do not recommend using .

Good for chickens

It’s great for my chicken coop. Kills odors and dries out their droppings. When it rains it dries faster than dirt. Smells better than dirt after it rains.

Great price; easy pickup. Would buy again!

I appreciate that this sand is SOOOO much cheaper than buying the little 50lb bags. If you need a larger quantity, this is the way to do it! Sand is good quality for anything from pavers to landscape fill to mixing with cement and other things. I'd probably want a bit cleaner sand (less med-size pebbles) for play sand, but it's not bad.

Pretty good sand

I like the amount of sand.It was not very fine or clean looking, but it was in bulk. The delivery person was great, but I did not receive an updated delivery window email the night before as promised.

Is this can used as a kind of USGA sand for golf?
