I want to cover to the best i can, what i can say about the first 2 weeks of use. So with that being said naturally I cant speak on longevity of this smoker, yet. What i can say is so far it has done exactly what it says it does. I will say the wafer fire starters are a must for hassle free start up. dont waste time trying other methods. Extremely finicky motor, disappointing performance
Holy moly. Cool in theory, nightmare in reality. Extremely sensitive to weight distribution. If it is not near exactly evenly distributed weight, the motor will cease to function. Tried to do a smoked turkey (13lbs) laced it multiple times to limit the weight from shifting as the rotisserie turned… and without fail it would maybe turn for five minutes before squealing and stopping.
