Aluminum Summit 48 inch post to be used in conjunction with Summit aluminum railing where a taller post is desired. Post includes welded flange base for surface mount application. Post is blank to receive brackets for railing panels as end, corner, line post positioning or at bottom stair positioning. Flat cap is provided with post. Summit railing cross rails insert into the overlapping cup of the fixed or swivel bracket to attach to the post within the railing configuration. Surface mount fasteners purchased separately.
