Had it for about two weeks now. It’s absolutely amazing and as easy to install as it’s says. Had an electrician to install my disconnect switch, but Installed the unit myself per the instructions and YouTube videos. Great buy!

I installed this in an insulated shed where I now store wine barrels to age. Despite the installation documentation being somewhat out of date, and with slight variations from the youtube videos, this was a breeze to install. I installed the compressor on a wall bracket outside and leveling it wasn't much of a problem. The unit fired right up and both the compressor and the air handler at both dead quiet. Internet connectivity was a little tricky but they have a help line if needed. Amazing...

this is my 3rd mr cool unit. the 5th gen is a great unit. it's easy to install. only issue is had was getting it online so I can use my phone. I got it now. so since I have 3 now do I get 3 hats ?

Would Not Recommend

Purchased 3 years ago, arrived in questionable condition. Hvac Installed, had a leak. Have had to have hvac service in year 2, and 3 hvac ivsits in year 3. Customer service offered no help. Run away, not worth the money.

Its ok, but way to expensive and wonky

The user manual is outdated and wrong, there are many very confusing steps that are not adequately outlined for clarity. It works well, but WAY TOO much cost when you can just get one without precharged lines and get a cheap vacuum pump at Harbor Freight. I will do that next time. Customer service is also mediocre at best and shipping was slow on another unit I cancelled. Saved over $1000 getting another brand!
