Disappointed
Customer support was unorganized and rude at times. Directions were insufficient and a lot of things you find out after purchasing that they hide in the manual. Warranty voids and installations not recommended that you do not find out about until you read the manual. Also, does not come with enough wrapping tape and the drain line is shorter than the line set. These units cost a lot more than competitors and I did not feel like it was worth the extra money. Should have just bought a cheaper unit...

Unable to claim state rebate because of Lowes rece
I am unable to claim the rebate from he NH Dept of Energy because the receipt from Lowes gives a model number different from that on the condenser and air handler. The receipt gives one model number for both instead of listing the Mr. Cool model numbers for each component.

MrCool = coolest and the ‘New Hotness’ all in one!
The installation was very straightforward and went smoothly. It’s both heats and cools efficiently, so much so we watched the electric meter to see if it registered a jump in power usage and it was almost unnoticeable. The unit also seems well built and well designed. I HIGHLY recommend the MrCool DIY units to anyone with moderate technical know-how. They are worth every penny vs the cheap units you have to pay a certified technician more than the price difference to install.
