This product works excellent for latex paint. While it claims to work for oil base stains/paints - it is not very good.

Easy use. Simple process.
Easy to use! Sprinkle on, stir in. One pack goes a long way… I bought two packs but if I had known, I would use one pack for the two tins I needed to dispose of. It quickly congealed to form a semi dry gel and worked further to dry it out. Very good!

I was disappointed in the product.
The information on the product said that it would harden up to a gallon of paint. I had about 2/3rd of a gallon of old paint and had to use 2 packets and it still did not completely harden.

I tried it on latex paint and I didn't work. oil paint and it didn't work. oil and latex mixed and guess what? It didn't work. it just just made a gummy semi-solid.
