Just bought and installed this dimmable light switch in a bedroom when old rotary style dimming switch failed. It was a simple 5 minute install (instructions were available online via a link provided in packaging) needing only pliers, and a screwdriver. The switch works perfectly and allows you to turn on the light with a small rocker-type switch and then change the brightness by dimming the light if desired by moving the slider up or down.
