The product is actually fine and works. My disappointment. Was with my experience working with Lowe’s and the team members at Lowe’s. I had found a different switch that would have worked better and was what I was looking for It was on sale and so I asked the sales person for a price verification. They left to get their manager. The switch that I wanted I was told should have been pulled from the shelves two weeks prior and although they could see a price of $.21 they would not sell it to me....

My son has a transformer operated optical instrument that needed to be dimmed. The device I bought is capable of 150 watts of inductive power supply and it works perfectly for the job I needed for. One thing I really liked was that it had a little lever that would allow me to turn down the device a little bit to save the bulb life.

I really like the action on this, the slide up to turn on and adjust brightness. While some situations a switch might be better, the slide is great for my uses. I like that the dim end can be adjusted for the fixture I use it with; this is the second one I have purchases. And it works with LED fixtures, no flickering! Wonderful!
